The City of Odessa is resuming mobile COVID testing this week, starting on Wednesday the 16th. If you feel you or someone you know needs to be tested, this is your friendly reminder to do so to help slow the spread of the virus here in the Permian.

If you believe you could have been exposed recently or even during the Labor Day holiday, you may need to get tested as the second round of free drive-thru COVID testing happens this month and the month of October. The testing schedule is as follows:

  • September 16th - McKinney Park (Christmas Line) - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • September 23rd - UTPB Park (Soccer Field Parking) - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • September 30th - Sherwood Park (E. 49th and Cordova Parking Lot) - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • October 14th - Floyd Gwin Park (W. 10th Parking Lot) - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Testing is available on a first come first served basis. For more information visit  www.odessa-tx.gov.
