The City of Odessa has announced they are launching a new testing program for COVID-19. They are planning for the testing to be done at eight different parks around the city for exactly one month, beginning June 30th and lasting through July 30th. 

These testing sites are basically on first come first serve basis as only 200 free tests will be administered at each of the park events. The city of Odessa was awarded funding worth over $700,000 from CARES, therefore the testing will be covered. Here are the dates and locations of testing:

  • June 30th-Sherwood Park 9-11 am
  • July 2nd-Woodson Park 11 am-1 pm
  • July 14th-Salinas Park 9-11 am
  • July 16th-UTPB park 9-11 am

  • July 21st-Lawndale Park 9-11 am

  • July 23rd-Floyd Gwinn Park 11 am-1 pm

  • July 28th-Slaton Park 9-11 am

  • July 30th-Central Park 9-11 am
