We all have our heroes. Let me tell you a little bit about mine that some of you may not know.

Bruce Lee is well known for his martial arts but not a lot of people know that he also had a degree in philosophy. He has some of the greatest motivational quotes of all time.

The best part about his quotes is he didn’t just say them because they were random arrangements of words that he thought sounded smart. He lived by these words.

Bruce Lee became a successful actor and director in a time when Asian culture was nothing more than a stereo typical joke in the United States.

If you ever need a pick me up or motivational movie to watch I highly recommend “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story”. He was a truly amazing man who overcame more in his short lifetime than most people could accomplish in three lifetimes. I find him so inspiring that I even named my son after a character his son (Brandon Lee) played. Sadly, Brandon died while filming that very movie. On a side note, there’s a lot of stories going around about how Bruce passed away. He died of a cerebral edema (brain aneurism) in 1973. His most famous movie “Enter the Dragon” wasn’t even complete yet but luckily they had filmed enough that they were able to complete it.  Here’s just a few of his quotes that help keep me motivated and I hope they can do the same for you.
