Breast Cancer Awareness Month-Get Your Mammograms Ladies

It is officially October and that can only mean one thing. Time to THINK PINK! It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Women over the age of 40 are encouraged to get checked and get a mammogram, if you have already had one, stay on it and get it done annually. I had one for the first time earlier this year....

The biggest misconception for me was that it would hurt. It didn't, at all! I've had friends say before that they are scared, or they don't need it or they're 'too young.' All nonsense and excuses.
