Trust, with as much is as stake in this election, this is definitely one you need to participate in. But if you want to avoid the Election Day chaos, voting early is the way to go.

If you're registered to vote, you’re eligible to cast your vote and all you’ll need to bring with you is one of the following:

  • Texas driver's license
  • Texas election ID certificate
  • License to carry
  • Military ID with a photo
  • U.S. citizenship certificate with a photo
  • Passport

If you don't have these, you’ll have to sign a sworn statement with the reason why you don't have a proper ID and bring a supporting document such as a certified birth certificate, utility bill or bank statement.

Early voting goes on until November 4 and then Election Day is November 8.
