New Year, new me! Isn't that how we all begin on January 1 of each new year? Happy New Year! It is officially 2023 and we are all going to attempt to do our best to maintain as many cliches in this new year as we can. I'm guilty of it myself. Out with the old, in with the new. Let the new year's resolution list-making begin.

What are the typical resolutions that we all make? Lose weight, save money, hit the gym more, get out of debt. Literally off the top of my head those are a few that I've made in years past. (I don't do resolutions anymore personally.)

So in 2023, what changes? Have our goals, visions and dreams changed? What goals have Americans set in the new year? According to this website, these are the most popular New Year's resolutions in 2023:

* exercise/hit the gym more-the gym memberships this time of year I can imagine are through the roof! And that's great. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be healthy.

*eat better-if I made resolutions, this would be 1 of them. I personally feel better when I eat healthy as opposed to pigging out on junk food.

*lose weight-have you seen Netflix lately? There are HIIT (high-intensity interval training) videos all over it. I'm excited, I plan to give them a try. If losing weight is one of your resolutions, I highly recommend these videos, speaking from experience.

*save money-not a bad idea. We should all have this on our 'to-do list.'

*spend more time with family and/or friends-Also a must. You only have 1 family. Cherish them. Good friends are hard to come by as well.
