Top 5 Chores Texans Hate Doing The Most!

Chores. I hate them. I've not met one single soul who has ever said they actually like doing chores. I don't even like the word. My kids complain when they have to get their weekly chores done. The hate runs deep and it starts at a young age. lol But we still do them like it or not, the daily ones, the weekly ones, and everything in between. 

Have you ever wondered if you are in the majority as far as which specific chores you loathe doing? Let me break it down for you.

5 CHORES TEXANS HATE DOING THE MOST:

1. CLEANING THE TOILET-

Hands down my #1 as well. No amount of Fabuloso, Pine Sol, or bleach will ever make this a fun activity for me. Think about what goes down on a daily basis in this thing. I can think of a million other things I would rather do than clean a toilet. Jump out of an airplane, swim with sharks...

2. CLEANING THE OVEN-

I have to be honest, this is not even top 3 for me! Why? I'm Latina. Enchiladas, frijoles, tortillas, and tacos are done on the stove TOP, my oven doesn't get used a lot. I know, weird flex.

3. CLEANING THE WINDOWS-

Let me tell you how much I absolutely hate cleaning windows, I don't do it. Enough said. Next!

4. SWEEPING/MOPPING-

Unfortunately, I sweep every night when everyone has gone to bed. I have children, specifically a teenager. Those 2 feet alone track in everything you can imagine! Mopping is a top 2 dislike for me. Can I pay someone to just come MOP my house? Nothing more, just mop. lol

5. DUSTING THE FURNITURE-

Growing up I had 1 job, like clockwork every Saturday morning bright and early. Dust all the furniture. My mother would do the finger check when I was done. If she did not approve, I wasn't playing outside that day. Why was furniture polish even invented? I can't stand the person that decided it needed to be a thing!
