This Is What Should Take Over The Old Genghis Grill On 42nd St. I

UPDATE: Wow, still no takers on this abandoned building I guess? I would have thought this would have been a prime piece of real estate for some business in Odessa. Right off of 42nd street, in the mall parking lot, I'm shocked no one has snatched up the old Genghis Grill just yet. Might I throw in my 2 cents? Here are some suggestions for who should take it over from me.

TOP 3 LIST OF WHAT I THINK SHOULD TAKE OVER GENGHIS GRILL ON 42ND ST. IN ODESSA:

1. SPIRIT HALLOWEEN- I mean it is almost that time of year when they start popping up in the most random locations, why not this one?

2. FIVE BELOW-Midland already has one, Odessa needs one and it would make my daughter very happy!

3. FAMILY DOLLAR- what? I'm not that girl who thinks we have too many! Yes, there is one on every corner but think about it, not this particular corner. Give us a dollar store of some sort at this location.

Even though I did not eat at Genghis Grill in Odessa often when they first opened, I ate there so much, I just plain burned myself out. But then one day I discovered what looked to be an abandoned building, I decided to check to make sure I wasn't mistaken and maybe they were just closed that particular day. Unfortunately, the Facebook page says permanently closed.

So now what? I mean how great is that location? In the parking lot of Music City Mall, we cannot let that building go to waste. Clean up the building and get something new!

In other cities, there are typically only restaurants or sports bars in mall parking lots so this short list is all I could come up with. What do you think should take over that empty building in Odessa? And if you happen to know what is taking over, give ya girl the scoop!
