We have so many great eating and drinking establishments here in the Basin--which makes going out here so much fun. Trying new things is always an adventure. Sometimes it turns out great, other times it's so-so, and once in a while, it's a total bust. It's hard to say for sure who is the absolute best. But there sure are some that merit mentioning more than others--when it comes to having the best cocktail menu. I still have so much to try and experience--but here's our top 6 so far. Feel free to add your comments below if we missed something!

Walk On's has some great signature cocktails. I'm a whiskey fan, so the High West Smash was one of my favorites.

5. BUBBA'S 33

Several different versions of Long Island Iced Teas to try (which means there are more visits to come since ya can't try them all on one), as well as the Fresh and Fruity Lemonade!

4. OLIVE GARDEN

You can't ever go wrong with the Italian Margarita. Be sure you get the shot of Amaretto to mix in!

3. CORK & PIG TAVERN

Whether it's the Piglet cocktail, the Frose, or Rum Punch--you'll love them all. My favorite? The Texan. Bourbon, smoked simple and bitters.

2. VENEZIA ITALIAN RESTAURANT

Such an amazing wine selection here to go well with the amazing food. This is where I discovered Villa M Sweet White.

1. TKILAZ MEXICAN RESTAURANT MIDLAND

Tkilaz is #1 because they have a drink menu that reads more like the Encyclopedia Britannica. Page after page of tasty-looking concoctions that I haven't tried. So far my favorite is the '57 Chevy. But it's a work in progress
