If you are a fan of the ever so popular Summer Mummers, you will be happy to know that it will be returning this year...in a different way thanks to the pandemic. Instead of throwing popcorn inside the Yucca Theater, you can do it with your family at home. That's right, this year you can watch from the comfort of your own living room.

If you are like me and make it a point every year to check out Summer Mummers with family, friends or coworkers, I'm sad to say it may not be happening this year. Summer Mummers has been an annual tradition for many decades here in the Permian yet it was announced yesterday that unfortunately due to the Covid it has been postponed.

Bet ya can't tell where I was over the weekend? If it weren't for the time of year that it is, you would guess movie theater in a heartbeat, but that's not quite the case. I actually got to check out Summer Mummers with a group of friends and had a blast! It had been a few years since I went to a show but regardless of that fact, I was not disappointed.
