It never fails, this time every year, yours truly gets sicker than sick. I always lose my voice. That is a given. But I also typically end up with the worst type of cold, one year it was the flu and let me tell you it stinks! Who wants to be sick for the holidays? Not me!
Parents, when our kids aren't feeling well we do everything in our power to make them feel well. Pepto=tummy ache, children's Tylenol=headache, allergies=Benadryl and so on and so forth. I've always relied on my pediatrician for the most part to advise what to give my children over the years. However, I recently learned that if you are giving your children melatonin to help get to sleep at night,
I had no clue 'adult carsickness' was a thing. As a kid, from about age 5, I stayed sick anytime we would leave town, I stay nauseated. (that always meant riding shotgun) I thought at some point I would grow out of getting carsick but I have not. Well now, unfortunately, my kids are just like me.
Current sitch in our house unfortunately! I'm sure many other households are dealing with the same thing and I feel you, it's not fun. In the last couple of days, I have equipped myself because I have a little 4 year old and an 11 year old who are having trouble sleeping at night, so I need some help from other momma's!
Unfortunately it is that time of year. Seasons changing, temps are dropping, holidays are near and everyone is getting sick. That was this girl last week. You think you're tough and some over-the-counter meds will do....not gonna happen. Just go to the doctor, I finally had to break down and do so and the shot pictured sure was mine. lol
