If you are someone like myself who commutes daily, it is a must to find something to occupy your time. No, I'm not saying start a full-on text convo with your bestie to catch up on the latest chisme, and I personally hate talking on the phone, so that ain't happening but you can listen to music or these days podcasts have become increasingly more popular.
It is not unusual for many of us here in Midland-Odessa to have a little bit of a commute to get to work every day. However, for some folks, it may be 15 to 20 minutes as opposed to bigger cities where they might be on the road for an hour. I myself have commuted to and from work for many years. I joke that I do it in my sleep sometimes. (truly only joking)
Texting and driving. Don't just don't do it. It is never a good idea for obvious reasons. So now that we've got that out of the way, what are the alternatives? Do you have one of those apps that informs friends and family, if they message you that you are driving and cannot text at that time? I've received those automatic messages before. Genius app by the way.
I'm pretty good at most things that I try. I am an ok singer. If my momma says I'm good, by gosh she was a wise woman, I believed her. I am a decent cook. The 3 day Labor Day weekend is here! Many peeps are going to take full advantage of the day off on Monday and head out of town. I was reading an article that said that 60% of Americans are leaving town this weekend and more than 80% are planning to drive to their destination.
