The Mesa Vista Ranch gets discounted after being on the market since November 2017.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens ranch known as the Mesa Vista Ranch has been up for sale for more than 4 years now.

But with Pickens' death in January 2020 the price of the property has fallen from the original $250 million price tag in 2017.

So if you have $170 million laying around, you could own the sprawling ranch just 85 miles northeast of Amarillo and about 30 miles north of Pampa.

There are plenty of beautiful views to enjoy like over the property's lakes, ponds, and waterfalls.

To see the beauty of this property, there is a video on the Mesa Vista Ranch website that shows the beauty that you can indulge in.

State Highway 70 splits the property with 48,000 acres on the west division and 16,000 acres on the east division.

The website states that Pickens spent 50 years transforming the Texas Panhandle Ranch into a paradise for wildlife and humans too, here is the description from the Mesa Vista Ranch website:

"Dallas Morning News outdoors writer Ray Sasser calls Mesa Vista 'the Wild West equivalent of a southern gentleman’s hunting plantation, arguably the finest quail hunting spot in the known universe.' During the past 25 years, Pickens transformed Mesa Vista into a model of conservation and habitat management that supports a prolific bobwhite quail population, a species under serious threat from changing agricultural practices and urban encroachment. Mesa Vista’s unique combination of a pristine prairie-like environment and world-class amenities provide an unparalleled forum site for some of the nation’s most influential political and business leaders to share their insights on matters critical to our times — national security, economic policy, political involvement, philanthropic investment, and energy issues."
