Skepta Has His First Child on the Way

Skepta has been known to keep his private life behind closed doors but on Monday (July 30), the U.K. rapper announced he's expecting his first child.

The 35-year-old artist posted a photo of the sonogram, dated July 30, 2018, on his Instagram page yesterday and added a rose emoji. While Skepta didn't reveal any more details, that hasn't stopped fans from assuming that model Naomi Campbell is the mother. The two sparked relationship rumors after appearing on the cover of GQ together back in March.

While the two never confirmed the rumors, they continued to share photos of each other together on social media. Campbell also congratulated Skepta on Twitter when he was awarded the title of chief in his family's hometown in Nigeria.

Although fans would love for Campbell to be the mother of the child, Metro.co suggests the sonogram is from the third trimester, and if a photo of Campbell from two days ago is any indication, the supermodel isn't pregnant. Campbell was last seen publicly over the weekend at the funeral of former model and television personality Annabelle Nielson and didn't appear to have a baby bump.

In related news, Skepta recently joined Xavier Wulf on the rapper's new East Memphis Maniac project. Skepta lends a hand on the "Check It Out (Remix)." The U.K. artist's appearance on the project is just one of the many guest appearances, which also include Bankroll Rico, Madeintyo and more.
