West Texas Native Returns to B93 Mornings

Since June 2024, there has been a hole in morning radio in the Midland-Odessa radio market. This was mainly due to the departure of longtime radio morning hosts Leo and Rebecca from 93.3 KZBT, a longtime fan favorite who spent 23 years waking up the 432 on B93.

Remembering Leo and Rebecca

As the current Director of Content for KZBT, I have the utmost respect for Leo and Rebecca and all that they did for Midland-Odessa. A 23-year-long stint in radio at one station is practically unheard of in modern radio.  It can and does happen, but not very often.  To this day, people approach me and mention them on some level.  After their departure, B93 had incorporated Andi Ahne into the morning drive timeslot; however, that was designed to only be a temporary placeholder until a new morning show could be found.

Moving Into The Future, A New Morning Show Arises

Beginning July 14, a new morning show will debut on B93.  Enter Tino Cochino Radio.

Tino is a West Texas native (Lubbock) and brings over 20 years of experience on the radio.  The morning show crew consists of Tino Cochino, Serina Perez, DJ Nicasio, & Producer Matt.
