My Kids Got To See An Actual Payphone

So last week it was the cassette player, this week my kiddos got schooled with a PAYPHONE. I laughed pretty hard with their reaction to this one! After explaining to them a little about how it worked, my 12 year old said, 'omigosh how much did you have to PAY for 1 phone call?'

My 5 year old wanted to know if everyone had a payphone in their car? lol I told them both the struggle of driving around having to search for one and if you were expecting a call back, setting up a time to sit and wait for said call. Awww, the good ol' days. Have your kids ever seen a payphone and if so, what did they think of the fossil? lol
