Merry Christmas

So I'm at the store grabbing a few things, kinda browsing through the Halloween costumes since it will be here before you know it, and as I round the corner of one of the aisles, what do I see? (insert Psycho music here) Candy cane lights for the front yard, Christmas lights to hang outside and various other Christmas items...

Holy cow! Christmas in September??? I thought this stuff didn't normally come out until AFTER Halloween? Seems like it gets earlier every year. Then I realized every year I say I'm going to get a head start on my Christmas shopping and here I am in September not having even thought about the holidays to be honest. I envy the people who shop all year long and are done by December. I guess this is more or less a warning to those of you, like myself, who were not even aware what time of year it is! Be prepared to see "the Christmas aisle" next time you're out and about and I'm curious to know....has anyone started shopping already or almost done??
