The Dallas Cowboys didn't let the bye week affect them and came out swinging against the Los Angeles Rams, destroying the once Super Bowl champs 43--20 on a day that also saw Cowboys' great DeMarcus Ware inducted into the Ring of Honor.

It didn't take long for this game to get out of hand quickly. The Cowboys stunned the Rams by blocking a punt for a safety, returning an interception for a touchdown, and using a dominating defense to keep the Rams at bay most of the game.

Granted, the Rams are not the same team that won the Super Bowl in the 2021-2022 season. Though they still have many weapons including wide receiver Cooper Kupp and the defensive destruction that is Aaron Donald, they are just simply not the same team.

That said, the Cowboys were clicking on all cylinders and Dak was sensational throwing the ball completing 25-31 passes for 304 yards, 4 touchdowns, and only 1 interception.

The Cowboys completely dominated in all three phases of the game on their way to a 5-2 record and remain unbeaten at home. The win also sets up for one heck of a matchup with the first-place Philadelphia Eagles next week.

DeMarcus Ware Inducted Into Cowboys' Ring of Honor

One of the highlights of the game for me was when former defensive end and Pro Football Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware was inducted into the Ring of Honor joining the likes of Tony Dorsett, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Roger Staubach, Cliff Harris, and other Cowboys' greats. Ware was a dominating force for the Cowboys and a fan favorite.

While it was pretty sweet to see Ware get into the ROH, Jerry had another DeMarcus on his mind.

Instead of announcing DeMarcus Ware, Jerry Jones gave props to current Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. Oops!

To be fair, the mixup could have happened to anyone as we're talking about two defensive studs for the Cowboys with the same first name. However, I will put 100% fault on Jerry for not putting Jimmy Johnson in the ROH yet. Please, get on that, Jerry!
