It’s National Margarita Day!

Today is one of my very favorite days of the year! Is it my birthday? Nope. It's not Christmas. Valentine's Day just passed. Hmmm....what the heck is left as far as days that this girl loves and happily celebrates? There is only one left, that's right, it is National Margarita Day! But of course. Who doesn't love margaritas? If you don't, this is why we are not friends. (I kid.)

I've never really needed a special day to drink a margarita, nor do I discriminate when it comes to any and all types of margaritas. Decisions, decisions. How do you like your margs? Shaken not stirred right? When ordering do you go for a salted or unsalted rim? And more importantly do you want it poured over a glass of ice, 'on the rocks' or blended up? A frozen margarita if you will. 

If I'm at Chili's restaurant, I love ordering the raspberry margarita with a sugar rim! OMG these are so good, if you haven't tried them, what are you doing with your life? lol Also, I'm a sucker for a flavored 'rita. As I mentioned, raspberry margaritas are great. But mango, strawberry, pineapple and coconut are all flavors I have tried. Am I a margarita lover or what? 

Are you like me and will more often than not hit up a margarita at a Mexican food restaurant? I just think that chips, salsa and a frozen margarita pair well! Especially during happy hour...'rita's for everyone! Happy National Margarita day peeps, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!
