For the past year I have taken up biking. Never really did it before and like most never really did much of it since I was a kid. Now mind you, I bought a bike at a normal store. I didn't go all out and get a 'real' bicycle. I've looked into that, and man those bikes can get pretty expensive, but I know they are probably worth it.  I pretty much went down and just grabbed the first bike that I thought looked cool. What did I know about bikes? Well, I know this I've probably had about 9 flats since owning this bike. I figured I would get a flat every now and then but 9? So, i have also bought the repair flat kit and patches and they really don't work in the long run. So I end up buying new tire tubes at about 7 bucks a pop. I've been told I'm not using the right kind of bike for the 'hobby' I've taken up this past year and I know that's probably the case. So, it's probably time to buy a 'real' bike and get a little more serious about this. I do love biking and probably will continue this for years to come.  But, do I have to wear those bike shorts? Haven't been brave to do that yet either. Probably time. lol
