Is This Theory About Red Cars A Myth?

Let's talk rides, whips. What do you drive? Actually no that doesn't matter. What I want to know is the color of your vehicle? I have had pretty much every color of vehicle out there...gray, black, blue, maroon, silver, green, currently I drive a pearl white one BUT, I have always wanted a red car. (truck, suv, no preference really)

Every time I go to purchase a new vehicle I say I'm going to get a red one this time and then end up talking myself out of it because of the stigma behind it. Is it true that red vehicles tend to get pulled over more than any other color? Am I setting myself to just load up on tickets if I do someday buy a red ride? Where my red vehicle drivers? Is this just a myth?
