Hoodrich Pablo Juan Flaunts His Cash in “Money on Fleek” Video
Hoodrich Pablo Juan continues to make a mark in the hip-hop community as 2018 rolls in with a new music video for fans.
The 27-year-old rapper releases the West Coast Cure and Sour Matt-directed visuals for "Money on Fleek," a song featured on his new mixtape, Rich Hood. The new video features Pablo stunting on his haters by flaunting an abundance of cash. Posing up outside, inside of a barbershop, as well as in a fancy all-white room, the rapper sprinkles in some animation into his hand gestures and facial expressions that keep viewers more than entertained.
Hoodrich tells XXL that the concept of the video comes from his love of getting money, which he says he is best known for by his peers.
"I like my money neat, no flex," he states. "Ask anybody who know Hoodrich. I'm addicted and obsessed with getting money, saving the neat ones and spending the ugly 💲."
For the rest of 2018, Hoodrich says he wants to have "more influence than Martin Luther King Jr." by taking over the world. "My plan for 2018 is to take over the world ear by ear," he continues. "I plan on having more influence than Martin Luther King Jr. Hoodrich 💲🔌🔫 The Religion ... shoutout to my big brother WOP la Flare Z6NE 🔟1️⃣7️⃣ 2018."
The rhymer's new tape, Rich Hood, features 14 tracks with collabs from Lil Yachty ("Street Punk"), Lil Baby ("Racks on Des Diamonds"), Yung Mal and Lil Jay Brown ("1017 Ways"), Key Glock ("Ball Like a Bitch"), Hoodrich Hect (Paid In Full") and Lil Marlo ("The 9+ Z6NE").
2017 was a breakout year for the Southern rapper, as he signed a record deal with Gucci Mane under his 1017/Alamo Records imprint through Interscope in August. He later released his anticipated Designer Drugz 3 album in October, which received critical acclaim from fans and the music community alike.
A year ago, XXL spoke with Hoodrich Juan Pablo, who shared a bit more details about his personality and background.
"Most people think I'm kind of aggressive or meaner than I actually am," he explained. "I'm actually very smart. I graduated high school early. I'm a people person. Unless you give me a reason to be that type of person, I'm not that type of person. It just comes across like that in my rap, because of what I've went through and the energy I'm giving toward it."
