Lubbock is full of so many amazing restaurants. While there are plenty of well-known spots that get lots of love, there are some lesser-known establishments that deserve more recognition.

As someone that loves any sort of Asian cuisine, I am always looking for new places to try. A while back, my friend suggested we go try a Korean restaurant she’d heard about and thought looked good. So, on our next lunch date, we went over to Masiso Cupbap to give it a try.

It is a cute little building with a red roof off of 34th with a really cozy vibe inside, and a nice outdoor area with a tall fence to block out any road noise. The restaurant is designed to serve to-go style Korean BBQ, but it is still very pleasant to dine-in.

The menu is simple but has a variety of options like kimbap, bibimbap, bulgogi, japchae, galbi, ramen, and more. My personal favorite is their tofu which comes with rice, japchae, salad, and a dumpling.

I went there with my partner the other night and we were the only people dining in, but there were a few to-go orders picked up while we were eating. If you want to order to-go they are available through pretty much any food delivery app.

If you are looking for a new place to try and enjoy Korean food, you have to give this place a try. It is also a great reminder to give a variety of restaurants a try around town. Because you never know when you might find your new favorite stop.
