In a perfect world, every tortilla would be warm, fresh, and taste just like grandma used to make.  It would rain tortillas from the sky and the air would smell like a combination of dough and butter.

The fact of the matter is not everyone knows how to make homemade tortillas.  Those who don't may oftentimes find themselves randomly asking or even begging those who do to make some.

At this year's CES 2025, a company called Apecoo unveiled a robot that simplifies the process.  Thus giving anyone the ability to make homemade tortillas themself.

The process appears as simple as adding dough, water, oil, and seasoning.  Originally, making homemade tortillas is considered a time-consuming process due to all the steps that are required.  With the Apecoo countertop tortilla and roti maker, you could begin to enjoy fresh homemade tortillas in under a minute.

This type of technology can revolutionize Mexican restaurants that have dedicated personnel who specifically make homemade tortillas.  Using machines or robots is nothing new in the restaurant industry.  However, the automated process is usually limited to only cooking the tortillas.  A human still needs to make preparations for the dough.  With the Apecoo countertop tortilla maker, the entire process is seamlessly taken care of.

How would Grandma feel if she knew this sort of technology existed in 2025?
