Fooled Ya! Firefighters Called To Home Over Elaborate Halloween Display
It is officially spooky season! The pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, fall, crazy, spooky Halloween decor is out. It is the time of year when all the fall things are all over the place. So there are 2 types of people in this world, those who will decorate with bales of hay, some pumpkins, maybe carved maybe not and a cute little scarecrow in the front yard.
Then there are those who go ALL OUT. The front of their house looks full on like a real haunted house. That is the house my kid is scared to trick or treat at because of the demonic-looking decorations. Skeletons, Frankenstein, graves, demented-looking dolls in the front yard, Michael Myers on the front porch. Even I'm afraid to approach.
But honestly, I have never seen something as elaborate as this display in New York! Firefighters were called and everything. So what looked to be a real housefire from the outside turned out to be an extremely convincing Halloween display on the inside.
The local fire department was actually good sports about it and even posted the video once they realized it was not real. The homeowners were worried they may actually be forced to remove their display but were allowed to keep it up to continue to entertain passers-by.
The owners will have the elaborate display up until the end of Halloween and only show it off on Friday and Saturday nights because of the stir that it could potentially cause. You have to check it out!
