Find Out What Is Going Up On The Corner Of University & Grandview

I swear it never ceases to amaze me that from one day to the next, something new either pops up in a random location or goes away in the blink of an eye. Midland-Odessa and surrounding cities have grown exponentially over the years and while it is incredibly unfortunate to see some of our favorite long-standing businesses go away or shut down it is always interesting to see what takes its place.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BUILDING ON THE CORNER OF UNIVERSITY AND GRANDVIEW IN ODESSA?

I swear I am in this area often. A few times a month at the very least and yesterday I was sitting at the light, looked over, and suddenly I realized an empty space. You ever have that moment where you're frozen in time and think wow, what was there before?

I had to look it up. Thank you, Google. Oh ok, so no more Loan Star Title Loans.

I asked around and a couple of people believe there used to be a 7-11 on that corner? Don't quote me on that one, like I said now that there is an empty lot it becomes hard to remember what was there in the first place!

WHAT WILL TAKE THE FORMER LOAN STAR TITLE LOAN'S PLACE?

Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for this one. When I drove by there was no construction on a new building just yet and no sign as to what will be there eventually, only a sign displaying who had demolished the building. I was actually hoping someone could help me out with this one.

Does anyone have the inside scoop as to what will soon be on the busy corner? I do not this time but I will continue to be on the lookout trust me!
