Fill The Boot Time In Midland

It is Fill the Boot time, in Midland, TX ! I'm ready, are you? My father was a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years, therefore this cause will forever be near and dear to my heart and I always give. This week, firefighters will be on the streets of Midland collecting your donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. All you have to do when you see a firefighter on one of several intersections in Midland is grab your change or whatever you can give and 'fill the boot.' 

For over 60 years, firefighters have teamed up with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to raise money for the cause and the community always comes through and is more than generous. Please continue that generosity this week when you see a firefighter at any of these locations. Local firefighters are out at the intersections of Loop 250 and Midland Dr., Midkiff Rd. and Wadley Ave., Golf Course Rd. and Garfield St. and Andrews Hwy. and Midland Dr. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday.
