Eat Before You Come! Texas Bride Wants No Food At Her Wedding Reception!
Buzz Question - I’m not feeling this, but my BRIDE wants to have a wedding with NO MEAL! We are planning our wedding, and she says that she wants to NOT have any kind of reception with food so that we can use that money on US! I don’t agree with this and want to feed our family and friends that attend! But, she insists that we will NOT do this. Suggestions?
HERE IS WHAT TEXAS IS SAYING ABOUT IT!

Who’s going to come? You’ll be saving a lot more money, lol

Then why have a reception?! Lol
Why not ask family if they can bring a dish? That’s what my step family did: someone brought enchiladas, another rice, beans, potato salad and pasta salad… whatever was needed to help with the meal.

Grab a sandwich platter at HEB and call it good.

Tell people on your invite to MAKE SURE YOU EAT BEFORE YOU COME! Problem solved! Like that no one has any expectation on food being there!

Nowhere does it say that you have to have FOOD at your wedding reception or wedding gathering. Heck, you don’t even have to have cake if you want. Just invite people to the chapel or church, get married, and call it a day! Hit up the HONEYMOON early and get yours!

We did not have a MEAL at our wedding reception, we had some finger foods and drinks, and all was well. Do not stress over the little things in life.
