Do Texans Prefer Bone-In Or Boneless WINGS? See Results!

Look, I'm straight up gonna tell you that I'm TEAM BONE-IN! Yep, the traditional chicken WIngs with the bone still intact. But, I do know a lot of people who love the BONELESS wings. And, that's where we are at. You are either a Bone-In fan or a Boneless fan.  So what about Texas? Can you guess what TEXANS prefer?

I'm not surprised by this answer. Are you? I mean this is TEXAS and while the boneless are cool for some it just doesn't seem like a TEXAS thing, right?

When it came to preference of wing type (traditional bone-in or boneless), there’s a much clearer winner. Bone-in is the preference in 36 states and boneless in 14.

When looking at the overall national results, 56% of American’s prefer traditional wings to 44% who prefer boneless.

So, yes, more states like the BONE-In than without the bone. And TEXAS is totally one of them!

Now it's time to get shocked by this survey. They found that the favorite flavor of WING for TEXAS is..........SPICY GARLIC!

What????? No way!!!!! LOL I was shocked when I saw this answer. Spicy Garlic? C'mon, over BBQ or even HOT/ Nope, can't believe it.  I mean BBQ is a TEXAS thing, isn't it?

According to the same survey....

Honey BBQ had a plurality of states at 14, followed by hot buffalo sauce at 9 states and Parmesan garlic with 7. It cascaded down from there with spicy garlic (6 states), lemon pepper (5), and sweet barbecue (5).

Teriyaki, salt and vinegar,, honey mustard, and Caribbean jerk each had one state a piece.

Well, dang it, NOW I want some wings. yes, BONE-IN for me please! What's your favorite type of chicken wing?
