As a supreme lover of pizza, I like to think of myself as a pizza connoisseur. Oh wow, I didn't even realize what I did there. Supreme. I mean anyone who eats pizza at least once a week is right? lol Ask me a million times what my favorite food is, and the answer will always be PIZZA! I am always, always, always down for pizza. Happy? Pizza is the answer. Sad? Pizza. Bad mood? Pizza will cheer you up for sure. Not sure what to make for dinner? Order a pizza!

I truly believe that pizza is the only food that I'm not super picky about. I can probably almost speak for most people on this too. If you ask me if I want thin crust, thick, cheesy, or even pretzel, my answer will just be yes, I love pizza that much.

Give me an all-meat pizza. Great! All veggies? Perfect. Let's compromise and do both, supreme. Veggies and meat are the perfect combination. So let me tell you the combination I had never tried until recently. I had never ever had a deep dish, Chicago-style pizza.

We were in San Antonio with family and they suggested a little hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. I mean, let's be real those are typically the best ones. My fam claimed that this place has the best, deep-dish Chicago style so we decided to give it a try.

The verdict? LOVED IT! Loved the thick, deep, flaky crust. The cheese and pepperoni toppings in the middle and the thick tomatoey tomato sauce on top. It was amazing! And as you can see in the picture, it is in the shape of a heart. The deep dish might just be my new fave! Next time you are in San Antonio, stop by Chicago's Pizza (appropriately named) at 5525 Blanco Rd.
