Check Out The 10 Best Sports Cities, Are There Any In Texas?
Nowadays it seems sporting events are everywhere, saturating not only North America but the entire globe. These events attract fans that number in the thousands if not the millions. From football fanatics to golf enthusiasts, you'll find many who want to catch the action live.
I love attending live sporting events. You're right in the thick of it along with other fans cheering on your team. One thing I've learned attending these games...where there are fans, there is money being spent. Big money. According to WalletHub, the North American sporting industry is expected to reach a value of 83.1 billion dollars in 2023.
The wizards at WalletHub also recently released a list of the best sports cities in the U.S. This isn't just any list slapped together. Using a variety of metrics, 392 cities were monitored and evaluated relating to North America's five most favored sports: football, basketball, baseball, hockey and soccer.
It would be hard to convince most folks that sports are not huge in Texas. And it made me wonder if any cities in the Lone Star State would make the list. See the top ten below.
