If you find one of these in your door you may be a target for a burglary.

Three months ago, my roommate answered the door to two nice middle aged Hispanic women saying they were setting up for their youth group to come mow lawns to raise money. He gave them $30 to mow our small front lawn and no one ever showed up.

Today I was in the shower when I heard a very persistent knock at the door and while trying to dry off I heard the sound of someone trying very hard to open it. By the time I got to the door, no one was there but this pamphlet was in my door. I think they use it as a cover to make them more convincing but also to mark the houses they have already been to.

I threw it away and about 10 minutes later I heard very aggressive knocking at the door and waited to see it they would try to open it again. Sure enough I watched the door knob turn. Much to my surprise two nice lady's stood there in shock with a handful of these pamphlets. I advised them that I was calling the police. They apologized and left very quickly.

(Notice there is no church name on the pamphlet. It’s intentionally professional yet generic.)

I don't care who they say they're with or how sweet they look. You don't open someone’s door and proceed to walk in when they don't answer.
