I love me some Texas State Parks! I have been to a bunch of them and NOW there will be a new one to add to the list. Ever since they announced that there will be a NEW Texas State Park added to the list of great Texas State Parks, I've been excited for this place to happen! SEE PICS BELOW

The great thing about this new Texas State Park is that it is centered around Tucker Lake.  Tucker Lake covers about 90 acres. The State Park will also feature

• a dock
• pavilion
• day area
• playscape
• equestrian campsites

• WHERE IS THE PALO PINTO MOUNTAINS STATE PARK LOCATED? 

This awesome new park will be located right between Abilene Texas and Forth Worth! It's about 75 miles from Abilene, Texas, and 75 miles from Fort Worth, Texas! It is located in Strawn, Texas  SEE PICS BELOW

• WHEN IS THE PARK OPENING?

I called the park today and they still do not have an opening day on the calendar. They did say that they are aiming to open before the year is out. Make sure to visit their website for updates as they become available.
