Are Scary Movies Even Scary Anymore?
I'm telling you right now, in my opinion, 'scary movies' these days are not as scary as they were back when I was a kid. I grew up with (not necessarily watching) movies like A Nightmare On Elm Street, Poltergeist, Exorcist, all the Friday the 13th movies....
and one that I will never recover from called Fright Night. That is some scary ish! Scary movies from the '80's were some of the BEST! Movies these days don't seem to give you the 'jump factor' or scare factor anymore. Leo's theory is that if a scary movie doesn't have an R rating, forget it, it's not going to be scary! What do you think? Do you agree? What are some of your favorite scary movies from your childhood?
