Amenti Beauty Academy is located at 3119 E. University and will be having their grand opening on Tuesday June the 1st. You may enroll now for classes, as the first class begins on Monday June 14th. All you need to be able to enroll at Amenti Beauty Academy is to be at least 17 years of age and have a highschool diploma.

You must then complete a 6 to 9 month course and complete 1,000 hours of beauty school. You will then have to pass the State Board Test to become an actual licensed cosmetologist. By the same token, Amenti Beauty Academy also offers a 500 hour course for licensed cosmetologists to become instructors.

If you began the process with another cosmetology school and already have a few hours completed, Amenti Beauty Academy does accept transfer hours. All you would need to do is bring your transcripts and those hours will be accepted.
