This comes from the 'you did what' file? On the group's 20 year anniversary, TLC decided to re-release their 1995 hit Waterfalls, except that this 'new, updated' version does not have the rap by the late Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes.

Instead they replaced her part with vocals by a Japanese artist named Namie Amuro. Oh heck to the no they didn't! In my opinion, you don't mess with the original first of all, and secondly why would you not want to honor Left Eye by re-releasing maybe even a somewhat different version but definitely leave her rap in there? If you want to change something, do all new music with new chica and leave the TLC stuff alone

Spoken like a true TLC fan. This has sparked some controversy with fans and of course family members of the late, great singer. They claim they were not even notified that a new track would be released and feel their daughter, sister, friend was disrespected by being taken out of the song. And I could not agree more. What do you think? Cool or not cool that the remaining members of the group did this?
