If your family is looking for new places to visit in Texas, perhaps this TikToker's suggestions can help.
MUST VISIT SPRING BREAK DESTINATIONS IN TEXAS:
1. Rio Vista Park-San Marcos, TX
According to visitsanmarcos.com,
Rio Vista Park is a great place to put your kayak in and paddle upstream or just swim in the deep watering hole. It's not uncommon to see recreationists surfing the rapids and sunbathers along the river banks. This is also the point of pick up for the Lions Club Tube shuttle. Bring your own tube or rent one from Lions Club upstream at City Park. The amenities include restrooms, tennis courts, 1/2 basketball court, picnic tables, benches, a pavilion, City swimming pool, hike and bike trails and trash cans. There are no admission or parking fees.
2. Chalk Bluff Park-Uvalde, TX
Visit chalkbluffriverresort.com and discover that
it is located just 15 minutes outside of Uvalde, we are the perfect place for you to unplug and unwind. Come out for the day or book an overnight trip. We have day use, cabins, tent, and RV camping available. We are the perfect place for a family reunion, country wedding or just relaxing in nature. You can swim, fish, kayak, tube, hike, bird watch, visit the petting zoo or sign up for a scenic hay ride.
