Thanksgiving is less than a week away! My absolute favorite holiday. I mean, I love food, I have much to be thankful for, so many different reasons. The meal, the family, the gathering, the desserts. So let's talk side dishes...

I personally do not discriminate when it comes to side dishes. I love mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, dressing, cranberry sauce, etc..

However I have friends and family members who say nah, no sides for me. I look at their plates with turkey, ham and a roll and think to myself, that's all you're eating? I will gladly eat double helpings for them!

So we had a fabulous Thanksgiving meal this week at work and as you can see by the plate I served myself, I.loved.it.all. I have never had deviled eggs at a Thanksgiving meal but this year may be a first because it was great!

We had dressing, ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cauliflower salad, macaroni and cheese, you name it we had it. I love friendsgiving meals because I enjoy getting to experience different side dishes that my friends bring.

For my family Thanksgiving meal, I will take the sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce and will literally be the only person eating it all. lol Happens every year! And I'm totally cool with it. More leftovers for me!

Which side dish do you always leave off of your Thanksgiving plate?
