We all think about what we would do if we won the Mega Millions jackpot, especially since it is over a billion dollars. The current jackpot is $1.1 billion, and the cash payout is estimated at $648.2 million, and it could grow with the number of tickets sold.

We all say we would buy a house, or car, pay off bills, or take a trip, and most people say they would quit their jobs. We want to do those things, but here are the things you need to do.

According to Fox News here are things you need to do right away:

1.  Keep the ticket safe.  State Farm Insurance recommends making several copies of the winning ticket and putting the original in a safe or bank deposit box.  Also, read all the rules before signing the ticket, because it might impact whether you can remain anonymous.

2.  Protect your privacy.  Be prepared to change your contact information, including your phone number, and set up a P.O. box.  You'll be surprised how many people suddenly want to get in touch.

3.  Get professional advice.  It's a good idea to put together a team of financial experts ASAP, including an accountant, financial adviser, and lawyer.

4.  Don't make any big decisions.  It'll be tempting to make a big purchase or lifestyle change, but that's why many winners go broke.  And you'll definitely want to avoid becoming an ATM for family and friends.

You know people are going to come out of the woodwork trying to get a piece of your pie. I can tell you the first thing I would do is head to Austin to claim my money. LOL, I can also tell you that everyone I love would be taken care of for the rest of their lives.

If you win please remember me!
