What Crazy Stuff Have You Put In Your Dishwasher To Clean?

So, inside our control room we have a pen and pencil holder on our counter. Well, the other day one of the Sharpies leaked all over inside of it. So, every time you grab a pen or pencil from it your hands get all marked up because of all of the ink that leaked inside the holder. So, I was going to trash it, but then I thought to myself wait a minute maybe I can clean this sucker up. We do have a nice dishwasher in our little kitchen area. I thought, let me throw it up in there. So, I put it in the dishwasher, turned it on and yep, 30 minutes later it was perfectly clean.

So it made me think what else could we possibly wash inside our dishwasher? I think I definitely have seen parents put kids toys in the dishwasher. I believe I also saw my wife throwing some grooming tools like scissors and nail cutters in their as well. I also remember throwing in some pet toys like little squeaky toys that got all dirty outside. Heck yeah let's just throw everything in the dishwasher. And, I do remember at one time having a garden tool that really got real dirty so I threw it in the dishwasher. And, yes it came out sparkling clean. I have put flower vases up in there. Honestly, a lot of things can go in the dishwasher and come out pretty nice. What have you put into your dishwasher that wasn't a dish, cup, plate or utensil?
