I think every area has it's own local urban legends. Growing up here I've heard quite a few about this area but none more talked about over the generations than the girl who supposedly hung herself in the OHS field house.

I think every high school has it's ghost stories. I heard this one around Halloween back in 1999 when I was barely 16 years old. (don't do the math. Yes, I'm getting old)

What catches my attention about this urban legend is the fact that over the generations, the story doesn't change. Most myths get distorted and more dramatic over time but this one never changes which leads me to believe their may be a small amount of truth to it.
