It's a new year and that means some great after-Christmas sales are going on right now. But those will come to an end at some point and we will still be left looking for some good deals. I don't know about you but I'm always down for a sale...semi-annual sale over here, clearance or after-season deals there. Let me help ya out for 2024. Here are the best times of the year to buy these 5 items:

1. JEWELRY

The best time to buy jewelry is definitely not during any major holidays like Christmas or Valentine's Day. If you want a really good deal on a piece of jewelry, shop for it the month of July. You will find some great promos and discounts throughout the month.

2. EXPENSIVE/DESIGNER PURSES

Ladies, not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for quality? May and July and November through January are when clearance sales happen on 'last seasons bags' to make room for new designs and even holiday season styles.

3.CLOTHING

Twice a year (right now) end of season sales are taking place in January and February and at the end of summer to get ready for the new school year. August and September are also great months to shop. Now if it is day of the week we're talking about, if you love a good deal? Shop on Thursday, the day when most stores come out with their coupons.

4. FURNITURE

When summer is coming to and end in August and September, the deals on furniture are beginning to heat up! Much of the stock at furniture stores are discounted to make room for new styles. Also you really do get good deals on Presidents Day and Labor Day.
