These 10 Texans Just Made The Forbes List Of Richest People In America
When you think of some of the richest people in America, the first names to pop into your head are probably Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Bill Gates and of course, you would be right. Those 3 are filthy rich billionaires and while Elon Musk in recent years moved to Texas (the Austin area) he is not from Texas.
Wonder no more, I got you. I was curious too and looked into it. Thanks to Forbes and the list they released recently of the richest Americans, there are actually 15 Texans on this list. Let's take a look at the top 10. And I stand corrected, we do count Elon Musk because he is now located IN Texas.

Elon Musk-holds the title of the wealthiest man in the world! He is numero uno on the Forbes list and his titles are quite honestly too long for this article. You may have heard of Tesla, SpaceX, The Boring Company? The list goes on. Mr. Musk is worth a whopping $251 billion.
Alice Walton-the last name beginning with Wal should give it away. She is the daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton. Alice is the heiress to the Walmart fortune and is worth almost $56 billion.
Michael Dell-the founder, chairman, and CEO of Dell Technologies. Worth $50 billion, Mr. Dell resides in Houston.
Jerry Jones-owner of Jerry's World and America's team The Dallas Cowboys. 'Nuff said. Not surprisingly worth $16 billion.
Stanley Kroenke & Anne Walton Kroenke-billionaire businessman, owners of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment worth a combined $21 billion.
Jeffery Hildebrand-businessman founder, chairman, and CEO of Hilcorp Energy Company. Mr. Hildebrand is worth $11 billion.
