Post Malone lives up to the name of the biggest single from his Beerbongs & Bentleys album. Taking the stage at Radio City Music Hall for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night (Aug. 20), the Texas-bred artist delivered an electric rendition of his 21 Savage-assisted single, "Rockstar." Of course, 21 was also along for the ride.

In a special twist, Aerosmith, the legendary rock group that famously collaborated with Run-D.M.C. in the 1980s ("Walk This Way"), joined Post onstage as "Rockstar" melted into the band's timeless single, "Dream On." As the performance continued, Post actually picked up a guitar and began crooning his heart out along with Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler and the rest of the crew.

As a lover of both rock and hip-hop, it isn't surprising Post got visibly caught up in the moment. As the song came to a close, Post embraced Steven Tyler—but based on Steve's slightly annoyed facial expression, it feels safe to say he wasn't all the way feeling Posty's hug session.

Regardless of that, Post Malone had himself a night as he and 21 found themselves winning the trophy for Song of the Year at the star-studded awards show.

Other winners included Cardi B (Best New Artist, Best Collaboration, "Dinero" with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled), Nicki Minaj (Best Hip-Hop) and Young Thug (Video of the Year, "Havana" with Camila Cabello). Needless to say, it was a solid night for the world of hip-hop.
