Phone’s Gotta Eat 1st! Does Anyone Else Have This Annoying Habit?

My mother always used to tell me, 'never say never Rebecca.' (my name said in Spanish by the way-roll the rrrrrrrr) If she ever heard me say I would never do this, I would never do that, she would kindly remind me I may eat my words some day. And you know what? Momma was right.

I used to get so annoyed when I would browse social media and could not get through a couple of scrolls and come across food pics or 'food porn' if you will. Or if I was having a meal with someone, they would stop to take a picture of their food. I would think to myself are you kidding me? Who and more importantly why would anyone want to take a picture of their food?

I thought it was weird and unnecessary and could not for the life of me understand why when someone was at a restaurant and their food was brought to their table, they wouldn't just dig in like I always do! Who has time to take photos of their food?! Well, this girl apparently.

OMG! I am that girl now. I find myself more often than not, telling my family, hang on, let me take a picture of your plate, I'm going to send it to so and so. Or it looks good, I'm going to save it. For what? For who? I literally have zero reason to take pictures of the food I'm about to eat, yet as I was looking for a certain photo in my camera roll this morning, I realized I have a ridiculous number of food porn pics.
