If you haven't heard the hype about the new series Lamdman on Paramount +, you have come to the right place!

EVERYTHING WE KNOW

The series focuses on the oil and gas industry in West Texas. Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, also created this series. It was adapted from Christian Wallace's podcast Boomtown. Billy Bob Thorton plays Tommy Norris and is known as the "Landman" in the series. Billy Bob's character is considered the problem solver in the oil rig world. The story is set to show the story of the roughnecks and billionaires who fuel the oil and gas industry.

Other stars cast in the show are Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, and Jacob Lofland as members of the Norris Family. Ali is cast as Tommy's ex-wife, while Michelle and Jacob will play as their children.

WHAT ABOUT ODESSA, TEXAS?

The show came to Odessa in May this year to shoot a scene in Ratliff Stadium. They did a huge casting call and shot the scene during the Permian High School's Spring Black and White game on May 16th. They picked around 1000 people as extras for the football scene. Shooting took almost 12 hours and lasted into the early hours of May 17th. The crew stuck around a few days after the shooting.

No word on which episode will feature Odessa but we will update you once it has been announced.
