How does the expression go, 'never say never...' Our sweet, baby girl recently turned two months and we are still enjoying her so much. I am no longer outnumbered in our house!

But I find myself doing things that I said I would never do with our baby. I've heard people say they had to drive the baby around in the car so that he/she would fall asleep. I remember thinking that was crazy, I never had to do it with my two boys so I never understood why anyone would? Well lo and behold, baby girl comes along and she can fall asleep in an instant when we're in the car, in her carseat of course, so here I am, 'let's go drive around so the baby can fall asleep.' lol I get it now, it does work!

I also had a friend who would say that if she had been out running errands and got home and baby had fallen asleep, she would bring the baby in the house, but leave her in the carseat so she could get some things done around the house, because she slept so comfortably in it. Again, I find myself doing that so I can do laundry, dishes or other chores and the baby stays fast asleep in her carseat. I will never say never again. Do you find yourself doing things with your kids that you said you would never do?
