Midland, Texas Radio Station Raises Over $71,000 For St. Jude’s
Midland, Texas radio station Lone Star 92.4 KNFM participated in raising funds for their annual St. Jude Research radiothon.

St. Jude's Research Hospital was founded in 1962 with the sole purpose of advancing treatments for cancer and other childhood diseases. What sets St. Jude apart is the fact that they provide treatment free of charge. Offering financial relief with what would otherwise be lengthy and costly medical expenses.
During the course of 2 days, KNFM afternoon on-air personality Gwen did back-to-back 12-hour on-air shifts covering the radiothon in its entirety. Her above-and-beyond efforts did not go unnoticed.
Once the radiothon concluded, the team was sent a tabulation and thank you message from St. Judes claiming that over $70,000 was raised.
