I'm in and I'm hooked! Dang, it! It's the new word game sensation that is going viral. It's a cross between a CROSSWORD puzzle and Wheel of Fortune. You definitely need to love WORDS and spelling. Which, I don't necessarily, but I love the game!
Here are 5 Things I Found Out About WORDLE...here's a heads up!
1) IT'S NOT AN APP BUT A WEBSITE LINK
Don't do what I did and look for it on your APP store. The game is actually owned by New York Times and can be found at one of their links.
2) 5 TRIES TO GUESS A 5 LETTER WORD
Basically, the game is simple. You have 5 tries to guess a 5 letter word. That's it. You start with any 5 letter word and go from there. The game does a great job of explaining the simple rules once you start. And, it does let you know which letters you have chosen that are in the word.
3) IF YOU GET THE PUZZLE CORRECT IT KEEPS TRACK OF YOUR TRACK RECORD
If you do get the puzzle right, it totally lets you know how you have been doing since you started solving puzzles.
4) YOU CAN ONLY PLAY ONCE PER DAY
This is the crazy part. You can only solve the puzzle once and play once a day. Once you solve it or don't, you're done for the day. And, the whole nation has the same puzzle every day. Your co-worker or friend is trying to solve the same puzzle if they are playing.
5) YOU CAN SHARE TO OTHERS HOW YOU DID AND IT WILL BLOCK OUT THE ANSWER!
The big thing apparently is to let other WORDLE players in your circle know how you did for the day. So far, I'm doing okay, but nothing to brag about. LOL Well, I'm off to solve today's word!
