The Wu-Tang Clan album that Martin Shkreli purchased for $2 million, which is the only copy in existence, is still a big puzzle to longtime fans of the rap group, with members of the Clan being confused themselves. In a new interview, Method Man speaks on Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, which the millionaire pharmaceutical dealer sold on eBay, claiming that he has not even heard the project to this day.

While talking with Business Insider, the veteran rapper says the album Shkreli possessed does seem to be real, but he isn't a fan of how the album was sold.

“Yeah, I think there is an actual album,” the rapper told the outlet. “As far as recording, that’s as far as my reach went. When I was informed how they were approaching selling the album, I kind of flipped out, because I was misinformed by the person who gave me the information. It’s hard for me to speak on it because I wasn’t in the loop.”

Meth also says all he knows of are his recordings on there, and not how the whole project sounds.

“I wouldn’t know because I haven’t heard it,” he continues. “I only know the tracks that I spit on. That is it.”

The Tical MC also states that he would have given the album to fans the regular way, and that he hates that it ended up in the hands of Shkreli ,of all people.

“My personal opinion, I wouldn't have done it that way,” he says. “I would have just gave it to the people at the end of the day. But you have people that have families to feed, things of that nature. And then to have someone [buy the album] that is pretty much disliked by a lot of people based off something that had nothing to do with hip-hop, that made it worse.”

Meth also claims the album Shkreli has is not an official album, but assures fans they will be getting an authentic project from the group on Oct. 15 when Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues drops.
